2012
Completion of the North Walbottle Site and Witton le Wear with the final units now sold.
2010/2011
Dere Street commenced the redevelopment of 40 new homes at Micklewood in the grounds of Longhirst Hall Hotel, a 19th century estate designed by John Dobson.
2007
Saw the commencement of the North Walbottle project. This exclusive development surrounded by the open countryside of Northumbria yet only four miles from the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne comprises six individual houses converted from the original 19th Century Model Farm built by the Duchy of Northumberland.
Dere Street Homes continue to grow and develop as a company through the talent and skills of its staff, tradesmen and consultants.
2006
Dere Street began the Witton le Wear project with eighteen new build houses crafted with traditional skills and natural materials, designed to enhance this picturesque Dales village.
2004
Dere Street Homes began to build its reputation for ‘a can do approach’ on difficult projects and as a result were asked to undertake its most prestigious project in 2004 in the form of a complete refurbishment, remodelling and extension of a listed 17th Century Manor House for the late Sir Bobby Robson.
2003
Such was their desirability; they were all sold within a month of their completion in 2003.
Also saw the commencement of three new projects for Dere Street Ltd.
2002
Its first build project was a Castle at Castle Eden. The scheme comprised the original medieval part of the Castle; from this listed part ruined building four individual bespoke homes of great character and quality were created.
2001
Dere Street Ltd was formed in 2001. It began life as a speculative developer of single building plots and unfinished housing sites mostly around the Peterlee and Easington Area.
