Be mortgage ready
If you require a mortgage to purchase your new home then you will need to make an appointment with your mortgage advisor or independent financial advisor straight away. The process of applying for a mortgage can take several weeks so don’t delay. For the appointment you will need to take along proof of identity, pay slips or a copy of your accounts if you are self-employed and details of previous mortgage or rental payments.
